1 percutaneous puncture set.
1 stainless steel, PTFE-coated guide wire (safety "J" tip and straightening piece).
1 dilator with sheath.
1 set of hollow dilators (progressive calibers).
1 connection tube with Luer-lock to catheter and funnel connection to urine bag.

The Nephrostomy Set with Pigtail Catheter is indicated when a nephrostomy is performed, which consists of communicating the urinary excretory tract with the outside, at the level of the renal cavities, when there is an alteration or interruption of the trans-ureteral urinary flow.

The application of the nephrostomy catheter allows decompressing an obstructed system and maintaining or improving the renal function impaired by ureteral obstruction, as well as obtaining access to the renal pelvis for radiological procedures.
